Global Trade Council was founded by a group of passionate individuals with more than 25 years of combined experience in international business development, trade promotion, and investment facilitation. Having worked with consulates, trade and investment promotion agencies, and private companies across multiple regions, our founders developed a unique vantage point on what truly makes global expansion succeed.

From the other side of the table, they witnessed the gaps between intent and execution — where international missions, delegations, and investment campaigns often promised a lot but delivered little measurable value. These experiences revealed a consistent challenge: organizations were investing significant resources, but often lacked the right local insights, partner validation, and structured follow-up to turn opportunities into outcomes.

GTC was created to change that. Our founders envisioned a firm that would combine the rigor of management consulting with the agility of an on-the-ground partner.
